“[yMusic delivers] sharp-edged, vivid performances that are at once precision-tooled and full of autonomous life.” -San Francisco Chronicle
Los Angeles, CA (April 25, 2022) — Artist Manager and Creative Producer Eclipse Projects is thrilled to welcome the genre-leading contemporary ensemble, yMusic, for worldwide representation, joining its growing roster of artists.
yMusic enters its 15th year with a slate of new projects, including a recital at Carnegie’s Zankel Hall, featuring the New York City premiere of composer Andrew Norman’s new 22-minute work, titled Difference, and a forthcoming album of original music composed collaboratively by the members of the ensemble.
James Lemkin, co-founder of Eclipse Projects, feels the partnership is a natural fit. “I’ve been a longtime fan of yMusic, and have so much respect for their artistry. I couldn’t be more excited to work with them as they enter this new era of their storied career.”
“Since the first time he heard us, James has really understood what makes the group special,” says yMusic violinist and co-founder Rob Moose. “With his varied background in the music industry, he has the ears and language not only to communicate the group’s vision, but to help hone and spark it behind the scenes. We feel lucky to be a part of this amazing roster, and look forward to rolling out exciting projects together in the years to come.”
